APVB ANNUAL BEACH OPEN TOURNAMENT

Each year, the Asbury Park Volleyball league hosts its Annual Beach Open Tournament during the month of August. This tournament is our biggest event of the year, bringing players from all over the tri-state area and beyond.

The tournament boasts three formats: 2s, 4s and 6s. Each format consists of various divisions to cater to the wide array of skill levels. Presently, this tournament is only single elimination.

Below are the divisions normally hosted during our tournament:

Division A - for advanced and experienced beach players, Division 1 Gotham players and Nagva A and above players

Division BB - for experienced beach players, Division 2 or lower Gotham players or Nagva BB and below players

Division B - for all other players not ranked in the above

These are meant to be recommendations. If you are determined to be in a wrong division, we will bump your team to the appropriate level during elimination.

All of this, and more, is accomplished by a team of dedicated volunteers and contributing sponsors.

RAIN DATES: The tournament will not be postpone unless there is a huge storm, hurricane or tsunami.
